As Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will develop secure, scalable, and high-performance applications bridging classic IT systems and modern DLT (distributed ledger technology) infrastructures. You will be responsible for integrating applications across cloud environments and DLT/blockchain networks, supporting robust staging concepts for development, testing, and production, and collaborating closely with DevOps teams to deliver production-ready software.
This is a hands-on engineering role in a Web3-driven environment, where your contribution critically impacts our platforms and user experiences. You will work across the full technology stack from frontend and backend development to secure APIs, blockchain integrations, payment integration, and event-driven systems.
Your Tasks
- Full-Stack Development: Design, implement, and maintain modern applications across the full stack.
- Secure APIs: Build robust and compliant interfaces integrating internal, external, and DLT systems.
- Event-Driven Systems: Develop and operate event-driven applications (RabbitMQ/Kafka a plus).
- Agile Delivery: Work in agile teams with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployment (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Code Quality & Testing: Contribute to code reviews, unit and end-to-end testing, and pre-production validation.
- Documentation & QA: Maintain clear documentation and support quality assurance and rollout processes.
- Support & Reliability: Manage third-level incidents and help ensure system stability.
- Architecture: Contribute to scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience & Education: At least 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development, ideally in a regulated environment (finance or crypto). University degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in Solidity, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and Java (Spring Boot); solid database skills with SQL/PostgreSQL and experience in REST API development. Familiarity with event-driven architectures (RabbitMQ/Kafka is a plus).
- DevOps & Cloud: Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD (e.g., GitLab), Docker, and public cloud environments; Kubernetes knowledge is an advantage.
- Financial & Web3 Knowledge: Understanding of ISO 20022/SWIFT standards and DLT ecosystems including smart contracts, wallets, and token standards.
- Quality & Security: Skilled in code reviews, unit and end-to-end testing, with strong awareness of security and regulatory compliance in software development.
- Collaboration & Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and work effectively across teams.
- Mindset: Strategic yet hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented with a strong sense of ownership in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is a strong plus.
