Our Recruiter Product team designs, builds, and continuously advances the B2B-facing side of our marketplace: We empower recruiters from companies across all sizes and industries to fill their open roles with just the right talent - and simultaneously, help talent find just the right jobs for themselves.

You will join us in our journey to become the go-to solution for helping companies fill their seats. We currently cater to thousands of recruiters, and were just starting :)

As a Fullstack Engineer (all genders), you will implement new features and maintain significant parts of our B2B user flows from end-to-end. Your work will involve discussing, designing, and developing various parts of our recruiter-focused products, leveraging both traditional approaches and AI-enhanced solutions.

At HeyJobs, we invest heavily in leveraging AI-augmented software engineering tooling to increase time to market and impact significantly. You will be using the latest tooling (currently Claude Code and your IDE of choice, including Cursor or Github Copilot) and adopting it for new workflows and use cases, as well as adopting it for emerging ones. As part of your journey with us, you will grow further into an AI-accelerated engineer that significantly punches above their own weight.

In this role, you can earn an annual target salary between 57.000 - 72.000 .

How you can contribute to HeyJobs

• Build and maintain our Recruiter Portal using TypeScript and React
• Build and maintain our Ruby on Rails backend application
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs in our applications
• Pair with other engineers on tough problems to arrive at the best solution
• Work closely with other disciplines, like Product Managers and Designers, to deliver fantastic solutions

What sets you up for success

• Min. 2 years or more of full-time experience
• Experience with React
• Fluency in Typescript or JavaScript
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL
• Solid understanding of web development (how HTTP works, REST, in-browser storage, etc.)
• Experience leveraging AI tools as part of your fundamental workflow, from general prompting to agents with Copilot, Cursor, and alike
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• You are a team player with a strong motivation to contribute to team success

Bonus:

• Familiarity with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, or Claude Code
