Description

This position is ideal for senior-level software engineers to join the Diagnostic Services team as a Software Engineer, developing key integrations and solutions for customers. Partnering with the product team and customer onboarding team, youll provide critical insights to enable global market penetration and highly efficient workflows. This role is vital in shaping Align Technologys global expansion of the Align X-ray Insights product.

Role expectations

• Work in an agile team of Software Engineers
• Create and support automated integration of customers software systems
• Monitor and scale backend services to handle a variety of data streams
• Optimize the technical onboarding process for wide range of international customers.
• Develop and manage customer training programs to support adoption and integration.
• Act as lead consultant and resource to customers.
• Provide technical support to customers.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience: 5+ years in Software Engineering or a similar role
• Skills: proficiency in Python and relevant web technologies (REST APIs, asyncio, efficient serialization / parsing / validation), unit tests, deployment patterns using containers (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm), a strong understanding of observability, tracing, logging tooling in modern tech stacks, Unix / Linux based tools / CLIs. Nice to have: Experience with Windows software, Golang.
• Communication: Fluency in English and German, ability to break down abstract goals into technical tasks and communicate outcomes and issues effectively.
• Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  
  

Complementary skills

• Basic DevOps skills such as containerized CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, knowledge of SQL databases
• Knowledge of reporting dashboards / advanced monitoring tools
