YOUR MISSION AT PLANCRAFT

Make sure plancraft gets a fully-integrated, global, AI-Ready search - and builds out its competency in building up AI Infrastructure / Solutions.

Key Objectives

• Hire the rest of the team and build up a cohesive, productive squad
• Lay out the Architecture and Roadmap for the upcoming quarters
• Implement the technical foundation and role-model excellence
• ensure tech standards and explore technical solutions (make or buy)
  
  

Responsibilities

• Scoping, Planning, Implementing
• Representing the Squad for internal Stakeholders
• Teaching / Mentoring / Coaching Engineers - both within the Team and across the Org (within the Org with a Focus on Modern Tech Stack and AI / Infra)
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

Must-Haves:

• Comfortable with Mentoring / Teaching / Advocating for a wide set of Technologies
• Product Ownership / Project Management Experience
• Cloud Experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), including IaC (e.g. Tofu, Terraform)
• Strong Software Engineering Background (Typescript is necessary, other languages might be a plus (Python))
• AI Experience / Overview (Vector Search, Multimodality, Embedding, Reranking)
• Enthusiasm for modern Development - ai enhanced engineering
• Comfortable with communication and ownership towards diverse stakeholders: business + tech
• Hamburg-based with willingness to come to the office at least 2-3 days/week
• Fluent in German & English (C1/C2)
