We are looking for the brightest IT minds that want to join us in our journey towards fossil freedom.   For our office in Hamburg we are looking for a   Software Engineer.   Your Job as a Software Engineer You and your team colleagues are analysing and developing software solutions using latest technologies and methodologies to nurture business development while staying compliant with our software architectural and security guidelines. Your tasks will involve the following responsibilities: Connect with our business stakeholder and understand their requirements Translate functional requirements into IT solutions Hands-on application development using mostly Java technologies, but also exploring new technologies and being always up to date in the field of application development Support the 24/7 on-call team for our business critical applications   Your Profile as a Software Engineer Are you triggered by cutting edge technology and innovations? You should have an entrepreneurial behaviour and be passionate about developing yourself as well as our business. A relevant graduate degree, e.g. Bachelor in (Business) Information Technology, Engineering or other related field Deep knowledge and practical experience in hands-on software development with Java 8 or higher (>3 years) Practical experience with Apache Camel Integration Framework (>1 year) Extended knowledge in Spring Framework Experiences with program interfaces/data flow streaming such as Kafka, Protocol Buffers and REST API ( >1 year) Experiences with micro service architecture, Azure and Kubernetes would be appreciated Experiences with Java Script, particularly Angular 2 (or higher) would be appreciated Strong level of customer focus and good communication skills Collaborative Team player but also self-driven and independently working Language skills: English (proficient) and German (any level would be beneficial)   We are convinced that diversity contributes to building a more profitable and attractive company.
