For TUI Group IT we are seeking with immediate effect a: Software Developer (m/f/d).Location Flexible: Our headquarter is based in Hanover, the position can also be managed remotely from another city in Germany or from one of our EU locations. The TFM-Suite is the central flight marketplace within TUI Group providing all own airline and 3rd party flights including ancillaries for own and secondary distribution in B2C and B2B on a single platform. For this environment, we are looking for 2 software engineers to develop and scale our flight marketplace across the different TUI markets worldwide. About The JobDevelop and scale TUIs central Flight Marketplace for flight and flight ancillary products.Take part as a developer in international programs to enhance and improve the platform.Coordinate and co-design the architecture, data integration and performance management as well as develop the scalability of tourist applications, especially in the area of flights.Accept the requests for technical requirements for the systems – document and detail the requirements.Advise business partners on the further development of products and services.Independently maintain and develop software solutions.Develop and implement technically optimal and market-driven IT solutions.Take responsibility for the consistency and viability of deployments and deliveries of software changes in the test and production environments.Optimise and develop deployment processes with extensive automation.Optimise configuration management within the application.Manage all configuration elements and the associated complete, readable documentation of all changes.Further develop software development methods and participate in communities of practice. About YouStrong expertise in at least one programming language, preferably in Golang.Strong knowledge of AWS and services, in particular, serverless architecture.In-depth experience in implementing Microservices and REST/SOAP APIs & good experience with CI/CD.Good knowledge of agile working methods (Kanban/Scrum) and willingness to work in an agile software delivery model. Desired but not mandatoryA degree in computer science (preferable).Knowledge of Open API Specification (OAS) & Apigee or any other API Gateway.Knowledge of monitoring and tools such as DataDog.Working knowledge of AWS services such as Container, RDS, Redis/ElastiCache.Infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) is an added advantage.Knowledge of Airline GDS, OTAs and NDC protocol.Experience in transforming data science prototypes into operational solutions.Experience in using ML frameworks (TensorFlow, Ray).Working with monitoring tools such as DataDog. About Our OfferCompetitive salaryPension scheme, life assurance and options to buy sharesGenerous holiday entitlement & holiday discountsForward thinking ways of workingTUI time off, purchase of additional holiday entitlementExcellent rates with foreign exchange and discounts with retailers At TUI, we know people are as diverse as the destinations we send our customers to.
