For more information, please visit Market Intelligence Analyst, Comparator (m/f/d)The Global Market Intelligence Analyst is part of the Comparator Global Business Development Sourcing Team and as such, works with the Comparator Global Sourcing- Director and with the Comparator Global Market Intelligence team to achieve business goals and annual operating plan.The job holder is primarily responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing & sharing drug market & comparator product specific data in the appropriate format, handling all related requests received at the Fisher Clinical Services Comparator level. His / her role is to further develop customer centric market intelligence strategies and tools to ensure that valuable drug market & product data (pricing, volume, lead-time, expiry, biosimilar/generic alternatives and changing market dynamics) are made available to our clients to enable them to make sound business decisions, the ultimate goal being to fuel Comparator business growth. He/She will be delivering scientific expertise on drugs & comparators by studying relevant regulations (EMA, FDA; WHO, CDC…), scientific publications, competitors’ products (including generics/biosimilar) to support internal stakeholders in their decisions making He/She is expected to convey scientific information to internal stakeholder and to provide impactful information on emerging clinical and scientific trends to drive strategic orientations. The post holder must ensure that the services provided are delivered on time and adhere to the Thermo Fisher standards of quality and compliance.Responsibilities
  • Accountability for delivering Annual Operating Plan in terms of market intelligence services to internal & external clients
  • Meet goals in accordance with company initiatives and vision
1. Market Intelligence (70%)
  • Be the subject matter expert for internal and external clients in giving advisory support on market intelligence
  • Leverage newsfeeds such as EndPoints, FiercePharma and industry relevant white papers to collect relevant market information for the Comparator business
  • Generate in-depth drug market intelligence reports for premium clients with comprehensive analysis on sourcing solution for pricing, volume, lead-time and documentation globally
  • Generate market assessment reports for non-standard or high complexity requests for information
  • Provide impactful information on emerging clinical and scientific trends
  • Generate scientific fact sheets about several therapeutical areas (including oncology, immunology, vaccinology…) and act as a scientific coach for internal stakeholder education
  • Ensure integration and cross-functional work with all other departments (customer services, regional program managers, marketing, business development, sourcing, controlling & reporting and customer experience)
  • Be involved in key project with customer to improve customer experience and answer to the customer needs
  • Support on generating scientific and medical insights for future clinical trials projects to identify drivers of tomorrow
  • Analyse product portfolio and clinical pipeline to support identification novel targets for strategic sourcing partnerships
  • Support the team on ad-hoc requests
  • Support the global sourcing network
2. Communication with all the internal stakeholders including but not only business development, project management & sourcing teams (20%)
  • Maintain the internal database updated with scientific trainings and fact sheets
  • Foster clear communication with the Comparator team
  • Support the Comparator business developers, project Managers and sourcing manager / specialists in their projects
3. Quality and compliance (5%)
  • Ensure compliance to all Thermofisher's rules and regulation from QA, legal and finance
4. Others (5%)
  • Active part in generation of business planning, budgeting, identification of market trends

Minimum Qualifications
  • At minimum a scientific master ’s degree is required preferably in science, biology or pharmacy
  • In depth understanding of clinical trials and other Understanding of pharmaceutical business services is a plus
  • A collaborative style; able to build strong relationships with business intelligence service providers and to influence all level stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of company functions globally and a deep understanding of the relationships and process integration among departments within the business
  • Ability to speak, listen and write in a clear, concise, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques
  • Team-player
  • Open minded
  • International orientation
  • English fluency in writing & speaking. Other languages beneficial
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 2-3 years of previous experience work experience within pharma, biotech or clinical industries.
  • Ability to overcome obstacles and achieve key outcomes and follow through to get things done and deliver what is promised
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
