The Frontend Engineer will build sophisticated web applications, understand customer needs and ensure TALPA products add value. They will execute the full development cycle, craft quality code and collaborate with the other team members. The candidate needs experience in building scalable front-end systems, ideally for customer-facing applications. Familiarity with frontend-related tech stacks (e.g. Typescript with React, Node.js, Docker/Kubernetes and Git) is required, along with an agile and proactive mindset. Any additional know-how e.g. on backend and data pipeline technologies is highly welcome.

Your mission:

• Work closely with the team, incl. other frontend engineers, product managers, designers, user researchers, data engineers, data scientists and customers to build sophisticated web applications.
• Convert new product concepts and designs into quality code for the frontend using the latest tools and techniques.
• Ensure consistency with other technology components (e.g. backend, data pipeline, ML pipelines), UX / UI requirements and quality procedures.
  
  

Required skills and experience:

• Proven track record in designing and building scalable distributed frontend systems
• Proficiency in React, Node.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, ShadCN or similar UI Libraries
• Comfortable working in an agile environment and know how to bring a respective mindset to the product development cycle.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams with user researchers, designers, product owners, quality engineers and other stakeholders to product complex products
  
  

Nice to have:

• Experience with Next.js, Docker/Kubernetes, Visualizations with Apache Echarts / Recharts / Highcharts would be a huge plus.
• Knowledge of UI and UX Design
• Proven track record managing CI / CD pipelines (Gitlab quick actions, Github actions)
• Unit testing and automated testing for frontend applications
