Market Valuation and Risk Management (MVRM) Technology .

MVRM systems enable the bank’s Risk functions and trading businesses to calculate, generate, analyse, and report on DB's major risk and capital metrics to our regulators.

Our strategic platform - RiskFinder - is a complete solution for Risk and Capital Metric Management, consisting of a scalable full-revaluation calculation engine with 50k cores, a multi-petabyte-scale Big Data analytics platform, and low-latency in-memory distributed grid reporting technologies.

The platform is used by multiple domains/clients and demand is forecasted to grow significantly in the next 5 years.

Our technology stack includes Java, PostgreSQL OracleDB, Redis, Python, Scala, and Spark plus other off-the-shelf products integrated into one platform.

You will be part of an empowered feature team delivering a common platform, connected with expert users and business sponsors, working within a fast-paced, global, and transparent culture driving migration of our platform to Google Cloud.

Your key responsibilities

• Design and develop new functionality in Java.
• Work with the business, architects, and product owners on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Investigate and fix production incidents, drive stability and monitoring improvements.
• Co-working with QA team on test automation of new and existing functionality
• Contribute to the longer-term platform architectural vision.

 

Your skills and experiences

• Good background in Java server-side development.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), good knowledge of Linux.
• Experience in microservices architecture patterns and Domain driven design concepts is a plus.
• Experience with modern SDLC tools - Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity is a plus.
• Development in Google Cloud Platform (or equivalent) is a plus.
