INTRODUCTION

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join the development team for our Reach Ads product. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and dynamic team, combining local talents in Berlin with remote colleagues. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including Product/Sales, to contribute to the product vision, driving innovative solutions and owning initiatives.

Your responsibilities:

Full Lifecycle Ownership:

• Have end-to-end ownership of the entire software lifecycle (you build it, you run it).

Agile Team Collaboration:

• Be an active member of a dynamic, highly collaborative agile team that works partly remote, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Presenting Technical Solutions:

• Effectively present and communicate technical solutions to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.

Managing Cloud Infrastructure with Terraform:

• Utilize our internal platform and Terraform to build and manage cloud infrastructure.

System Design & Maintenance:
Play an important role in designing, building, and maintaining our systems while ensuring scalable, robust solutions

Your profile:

• Experience in software engineering (+4 years), demonstrating strong technical skills.

• Proficient in Java as the primary programming language, with a willingness to learn and enhance Python skills., and open to working with both as required.

• Experience with AWS

• Wide-ranging knowledge in technology and architecture, including Java/Python languages & frameworks, domain-driven design, enterprise design patterns, UML, clean-code, and code craftsmanship principles.

• Fluent in articulating and defending architectural decisions impacting multiple systems/domains.

• Experience with Spring Boot/Micronaut frameworks.

• Experience with third-party integrations like Meta, Google Ads, and others is a big plus

• Ready to immerse deeply in the business domain and discuss tradeoffs with non-technical stakeholders.

• Good communication skills and a collaborative spirit, paired with a practical, results-oriented approach.

• Open to learning about machine learning engineering, data science, or advanced analytics, and to experimenting with AI agents
